TERRITORY MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:
LexisNexis is looking for accomplished, self-starting, open-minded sales professionals for dynamic opportunities within the small law division. The Territory Manager will be responsible for growth within a territory primarily through securing new business as well as up selling and cross-selling existing accounts, and retaining renewal revenue within law firms that have 1-50 attorneys. This person will work individually as well as work within a team environment in order to drive all LexisNexis Solutions within the assigned territory.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Takes the lead with account team with territory planning for all LexisNexis solution lines
- Effectively prioritize accounts based upon action planning to determine proper allocation of resources needed.
- Meet or exceed full year new business, revenue, and solution line goals.
- Collaborates/partners with telephonic resources, Solutions Consultant, Client Development Field Specialist, and Market Planning to drive new business and revenue goals.
- Maintain and utilize available sales tools.
- Provide accurate forecasts and grow business.
- Network and build relationships within territory in order to further business relationship and initiate lead generation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA Degree
- 5 years successful Business to Business sales experience in technology, or business products or services or Legal Services.
- Must have good comprehension of technical tools and resources.
- Proficient in PC/Internet technologies.
- Experience in using CRM software programs.
- Account management and new business development experience with revenue responsibility.
- Ability to prioritize and leverage resources successfully
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and teaming skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability and commitment to learn a vast product offering.
