CLIENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION
The Client Development Specialist role is a field based role responsible for driving growth (new business and upsell) and revenue for the Client Development solution lines. This will be done within assigned and prospect accounts across the assigned region. This position will partner by collaborating and planning with a team of Territory Managers and CD Telephonic Specialists to drive Client Development revenue across the organization. This position will be responsible for providing application knowledge, product knowledge, and industry knowledge of Client Development Solutions to region team members. Primary responsibility will be driving new CD business and securing/growing high-end CD renewals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide experience to Territory Managers with Client Development products as it relates to TPS. Drive Client Development new business and revenue (including Martindale-Hubble renewals) in assigned region.
- Work within One Team environment to meet or exceed full year region CD new business and revenue goals.
- Responsible to meet with team (including Territory Managers, Inside Sales Specialists and Marketing team) at least once/week to review opportunities.
- Identify new cross sell opportunities utilizing effective One Team sales methodology to expand overall customer revenue within assigned account opportunity territory.
- Successfully complete product certification and methodology training as required.
- Be able to understand and articulate value proposition of all solution lines.
- Maintain and utilize available sales tools
- Generate leads on all total practice solutions.
- Network and build relationships within territory in order to further business relationship and initiate lead generation.
- Comply with LNG sales policies and procedures.
- Manage to expense budget
QUALIFICATIONS: - BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years successful outside Business to Business sales experience in online advertising
- Financial acumen – ability to understand client's P&L to productively demonstrate a needs analysis for the cleint.
- Marketing acumen –ability to understand client's growth goals.
- Understanding of the value proposition of using a total solutions strategy
- Must have good comprehension of technical tools and resources for building a sales pipeline.
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
